Kevin Williams was the guest speaker at Camp at Old Mill on Sunday, June 25 as part of the 2017 Fourth Sunday Night Solemn Assembly Series. The title of his message was “God Loves You!”

Kevin passionately proclaims the gospel and the love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As ministry leader, he served as a Deacon, Elder, Evangelist, and Assistant Pastor in New Jersey. After moving to North Carolina, he served as Senior Pastor at Southern Evangelical Church in Matthews, NC. Presently, he is a faithful member and teacher at Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
Kevin retired from the New Jersey Department of Corrections where he worked as a Corrections Officer, Training Officer, and adjunct instructor at the NJDOC Academy. While with the NJDOC, he was a member of the juvenile crime prevention program and served as a chaplain to inmates, officers, and civilian staff. As a member of the NJDOC Special Operations Group, Kevin assisted at Ground Zero in New York City, Newark International Airport, and Fort Dix after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He retired from the department with nineteen years of service.
After retirement, Kevin served as a Security Officer with the Billy Graham Library for eight years. He became a Chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, which lead to his present position as Emergency Response Logistics Manager with RRT. He has served in Ferguson, Mo, Baltimore, MD, Madison, WI, Baton Rouge, LA, Milwaukee, WI, and Charlotte, NC in response to civil unrest and crisis training for churches, community leaders, and government agencies.
