ReTURNing Hearts Reentry Training Sessions 2020

ReTURNing Hearts Reentry Training (RHT) is compulsory for all new religious volunteers or volunteers who had to reapply after their security clearance expired. RHT provides an overview of prison and reentry ministry in Chester County with a special emphasis on mentoring inmates during incarceration and after their release. Attending this opportunity will help new and “veteran” volunteers to be up to date with the latest developments and our goals with prison and reentry ministry in Chester County. Reentry Resources

We are constantly striving to effectively connect the needs of inmates with “fresh” and relevant resources prior/after their release. We realize that hard copy resource manuals are ”Old School”, cumbersome, impractical and almost outdated on the very day they are “released”. We understand that inmates (and their mentors) prefer “something instant” on their smart phones/computers/tablets while service providers want “direct communication” with their  clients. We are currently exploring creating an interactive facility that will help both released inmates and service-rendering partners to bridge this problem.
