Subject: 10th Anniversary of 9/11. A Solemn Assembly on Sunday in Strasburg, PA
Brandamore, PA – 08/05/2011 – We will never forget the tragic events in New York City on September 11, 2001.
Anyone interested is invited to attend “Heart-Cry for America”, a Solemn Assembly to commemorate the 10th anniversary of this tragedy that shook our nation.
Date: Sunday, September 11, 2011
Time: 3pm (Doors open at 2pm and early seating is advised)
Place: Sight and Sound Theater, 300 Hartman Bridge Road, Strasburg, PA 17579
At this event we will express our gratitude for all who paid the ultimate sacrifice for America. The gathering will be addressed by Bob Vernon, former Assistant Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department and Director of the Pointmen Leadership Institute as well as Colonel Frank Noonan, Commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police. Other dignitaries will also participate in the program.
The program includes music by the Chester County Emerald Pipe Band, singing by The Harmony Quartet and a member of the US Army Chorus while the Pennsylvania State Police Ceremonial Unit will present the Flag of the United States of America.
Those involved in the armed forces, the police, first responders, corrections, fire fighters, sheriffs and public officials are encouraged to attend in uniform and with emergency vehicles. Church and community members, family and friends are all welcome to attend. Admission is free.
Media officials are invited to attend this event, to interview the event coordinator, Jack Crans prior to the event, to include the event on their calendars, “what’s happening” sections as well as include it in news bulletins before and after the event. Interviews can be arranged with speakers and dignitaries at the event.
